Children placed with foster care have often experienced trauma and loss and caring for them can at times provide different challenges. We want to be able to support you to be able to meet the needs of any child placed with you and also grow as a foster carer. As such we offer

  • A Buddy/Mentor scheme which links you in with an experienced carer

  • A supervising social worker, who will provide on-going support to both through formal supervision and when you need it

  • The potential to influence practice and developments through our Foster Carer Consultation Group
